Campaign Summary

JIBO, The World’s First Family Robot was introduced to the US market via crowdfunding, allowing users to contribute to the development of JIBO and receive the product as a reward for their contribution. Using the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform, we launched a paid search, video and social campaign, which combined with PR efforts, resulted in over 4,800 pre-orders of the JIBO robot. Given the price-point of the product, this number is especially high, as the average price-point for products on these platforms is considerably lower. With over $2 million raised, JIBO was the fastest to reach its fundraising goal and remains in the Top 10 product launches on the Indiegogo platform to date.
